Finding Strength in Challenges

Sometimes, life presents us with challenges that make us question our strengths and motivations. It’s normal to find ourselves in situations, where the mind and body seem to disagree on what we should do.

Recalling Our Motivations

It’s essential to remember our reasons and motivations for moving forward. In times of physical or mental exhaustion, it’s easy to lose sight of our goals and passions. However, by recalling why we started this journey, we can find the necessary strength to overcome any obstacle.

Pushing Through Resistance

Today is one of those days when you must push yourself to do what you might not want to do. It’s like being at the gym, your muscles fatigued, pushing through a challenging set of exercises, and suddenly realizing you’re in the homestretch. It’s that point when you feel like you can’t push any further, wanting desperately to let go of the strain as your energy fades, muscles hurt, and you’re battling against yourself. Your mind knows what’s good for your well-being, but your body fights back, not because it doesn’t want to comply, but because fatigue and pain are plain facts.

Yet, it’s imperative to persevere, for it’s within this resistance, within that extra effort, where growth and results are forged.

Navigating Resistance: A Path to Growth

When we understand that pain and resistance are part of growth, then we only need to focus on the reasons why we’re willing to make such sacrifices. The bigger or more important the reasons are for us, the easier it will be to endure physical exhaustion and pain. Likewise, we have to recognize that in all the processes we undertake, resistance and reason will always confront each other in the field to fight, and only one will emerge victorious, the one you allow to win. The decision is yours alone, just as in the gym, the decision to give up or continue because it’s what’s best for you depends only on you.

Empowering Ourselves

The power to decide how to respond to these challenges lies within us. We can choose to give up or move forward with determination. By staying focused on what matters and our reasons for embarking on this journey, we will find the strength and motivation to continue.

Embracing Normalcy

Let’s not forget that it’s completely normal to feel this way at times. The important thing is not to let those moments of weakness define our path. Let’s keep our vision clear and move forward with confidence in ourselves and our goals. I’m sure we’ll find the strength necessary to overcome any obstacle and achieve the success we aim for!

Updates on my progress and lessons learned

Today I going to talk about; Activating the Antispam Bee Plugin, Activating the Koko Analytics Plugin, and Activating the Wordfence Security Plugin.

Antispam Bee Plugins:

So what is an Antispam Bee Plugin: The Antispam Bee Plugin is a free anti-span plugin. It accepts trusted and appropriate comments only. First, it stops comments, pingbacks, and trackbacks and then creates a spam database and it also increases the security of our website.

Less Create an Antispam Bee Plugin.

To install this plugin, I followed a few simple steps. First, I headed to my Dashboard using the menu on the left-hand side and clicked on the “Plugins” section. Once there, I selected “Add Plugins,” which opened up a new page with a bunch of different options.

In the search bar, I typed “Anti-Spam Bee” to find the plugin I needed. Once it popped up, I clicked “Install Now,” followed by “Activate.” Easy peasy!

After activating the plugin, I returned to my Dashboard and hovered over the “Settings” button. I located Anti-Spam Bee and clicked on it to open a new window. Inside, I looked for a button called “Delete Comments by Spam Reasons.” When I found it, I checked the box, and a list of possible reasons appeared.

To select multiple items, I simply held down the “Ctrl” key (or “Cmd” key for Mac users) while clicking on the reasons I wanted to exclude. Once I was done, I clicked “Save Changes” in the blue button at the top right corner, and voila! Installation complete.

Activate Koko Analytics Plugin:

  2. No Cookies: You have the option to avoid using cookies, which further enhances privacy.
  3. Lightweight: The plugin adds less than 950 bytes of data to your pages. Even a year’s worth of data will take up less than 10 MB of storage.
  4. Metrics: Koko Analytics provides essential metrics such as total pageviewsunique pageviews, and referral URLs.
  5. Referrer Spam Filtering: It includes a built-in blocklist to filter out referrer spam.

Less Create Koko Analytics Plugin:

To install, I followed the same steps as before. I navigated to my Dashboard using the menu on the left-hand side and clicked on the “Plugins” section. From there, I selected “Add Plugins,” which took me to a new page with a variety of options. I searched for “Koko Analytics” using the search bar, and once it appeared, I clicked “Install Now,” followed by “Activate.”

After activation, I returned to my Dashboard and clicked on the “Plugins” section again to view all my installed plugins, including Koko Analytics. Beneath Koko Analytics, there’s a settings button, which I clicked to open a new window. In the settings page, I found an option to Exclude views from certain user roles like Admin, Editor, Author, Contributor, and Subscriber. This helps filter out views from my own interactions with the site. To select multiple items, I held down the “Ctrl” key (or “Cmd” key for Mac users) while clicking. Finally, I clicked “Save Changes” in the blue button at the top right corner to finish.

Regarding the numbers, my mentor warned that they might not always reflect reality, especially if they seem unusually high. I recently encountered this when my daily visits skyrocketed to 459, far exceeding my usual range of 5-15 visitors per day. This discrepancy indicates something may be amiss, and unfortunately, I can’t track where these visits are coming from. However, considering Koko Analytics is a free tool, I’ve decided to stick with it for now in this early stage of my business. But as my business grows, I’ll likely opt for a paid service to get more accurate numbers. In the meantime, I understand how to use Koko Analytics and appreciate its importance in tracking website performance.
