Happy Saturday, everyone!
I’m excited to share another update on my business journey. Each week brings a mix of challenges and victories, and this one was no different. Let’s dive into the details of my recent experiences and insights.
Milestones Achieved:
*Implementing Mentor Feedback: Taking on board last week’s advice from my mentor, I revamped my website to make the blog the main landing page instead of the ‘About’ page. This switch aims to improve user engagement by guiding visitors directly to my most recent content. The initial results have been promising, demonstrating increased engagement metrics and more interactions.
Challenges Confronted:
*Facebook Lead Ad Revision: I updated my Facebook ad, following my mentor’s guidance, primarily focusing on directing traffic and lead generation. During our deep revision, my mentor discovered I had mistakenly set the ad for traffic rather than lead generation. Since this setup cannot be changed after publishing, I decided to, delete the ad and create a new one from scratch. I have started building my new ad and plan to submit it for review next week.
*Resolving Technical Issues: I no longer encounter challenges when uploading images and banners for my Facebook lead ads.. After following my mentor’s advice, I’ve successfully learned how to manage this aspect efficiently. Additionally, I have gained clarity on the ad’s direction of traffic, to the correct URL for the product’s landing page and funnel.
Mentor Training Session Insights:
- Q&A Focused Training Session: In our recent Wednesday training session, my mentor addressed the questions posted by partner associates in the Affiliate System platform group. This session provided a wealth of information and helped to address various concerns and queries. Upon addressing all posted questions, the focus shifted to a common issue among marketers: a sense of stagnation despite diligent effort.
- Monthly Goal Setting: Acknowledging the positive feedback and unanimous participation, the mentor suggested a monthly website review to provide valuable input. Additionally, setting individual monthly goals was proposed to establish a fundamental benchmark for tracking progress.
Learning Points:
*Ad Setup Accuracy: Setting up my Facebook ad accurately for lead generation was a critical learning point. Ensuring the correct setup from the beginning prevents the need for redoing work and losing valuable time.
*Resilience and Adaptability: This week reinforced the importance of resilience and adaptability. Problems are inevitable, but handling them with a proactive mindset accelerates the learning process and progression.
NextSteps:
*Finalizing New Facebook Lead Ad: I will continue to build and finalize my new Facebook leads ad, ensuring it adheres to all guidelines and is set up correctly for lead generation. After publishing the details, I aim to submit it for review next week.
*Monitoring Website Performance: I will keep monitoring the performance of the new blog-centric landing page. The early results are promising, and I’m excited to see how this change impacts overall engagement and conversions in the long run.
*Setting Monthly Goals: Following my mentor’s advice, I will set a clear goal for the end of the month. This practice will help maintain focus and allow for measuring progress more effectively.
*Enhancing Community Engagement: Maintaining and nurturing my community remains a top priority. I’ll continue using the chat widget and social media to engage with my audience, answer their questions, and offer support.
Monthly Goal:
This month, I aim to reach 500 subscribers, build a robust sales funnel, develop an engaging email sequence for new visitors, and finally, secure my first sale.
*Reaching 500 subscribers is a significant milestone for me. It will demonstrate a growing interest in my content and the value I’m providing to my audience. It will also allow me to better understand my target audience’s needs, and tailor my offerings accordingly.
*Building a sales funnel is crucial for converting my website visitors into customers. By carefully crafting each step of the customer journey, I can guide them toward purchasing and ultimately achieving their desired outcomes.
*Developing an email sequence for new visitors is essential for nurturing relationships and building trust. Through personalized and informative emails, I can educate my audience about my products or services and encourage them to take the next step.
*Securing my first sale is the ultimate validation of my efforts. It will prove that my offerings resonate with my target audience and that I can deliver on my promises. It will also provide me with valuable feedback and impetus to improve my offerings and business model.

Wishing you a great week ahead, and I’m excited to share more in my next post. Thanks again for the encouragement!
I’m glad you implemented the suggested changes to your website. It looks awesome especially being presented with your latest post when you first come in. It’s a shame you can’t change the focus of a lead ad once it’s been posted. I’m just curious, did you delete or withdraw it or just let it run? If you let it run what results did you get?
Good luck with your goal of getting 500 subscribers and the other things you a striving for.
Hi Andy,
Thank you! I’m pleased to hear that you like the changes to the website, especially the presentation of the latest post. Regarding the lead ad, I actually decided to take it off and make a new one.
I appreciate your good wishes and support for my goal of reaching 500 subscribers. Thanks again for your time and comment!
Hi Ezequiel,
Great post! So many achievements and lessons learned!
It’s so good that it was detected you had an error in the FB ad having selected traffic instead of lead generation.
My first ad many months ago was the wrong one as well, I reached thousand of people and spent hundreds of dollars but not one lead. Awesome that you’re making the change for lead generation. Looks like to have a busy schedule ahead and hope all goes well and much success gained!
Denny
Hi Denny,
Thank you for your kind words! I’m glad you enjoyed the post and found the lessons learned valuable. Yes, realizing the error in the FB ad was a crucial moment. It’s a relief to know I’m not alone in making those kinds of mistakes.
Switching to lead generation will hopefully bring better results. It sounds like both of us have had our learning curves with ads. Wishing you continued success as well! Thanks again for your support and encouragement.
Best,
Ezequiel
Congrats on all the progress you’ve made! Revamping your site and tackling those ad issues sounds like a lot of work, but it seems like you’re seeing some great results already. I love the idea of setting monthly goals and doing regular check-ins; it keeps everything on track. Good luck hitting 500 subscribers this month – I’m sure you’ll get there with all the effort you’re putting in. Can’t wait to see what you achieve next! Keep us posted!
