Great post! This is such an important topic and so many people that need to understand this. In my past I’ve seen strong healthy retirees age what seemed like 10 years in only 1 year after retiring. They shut down because to them there was nothing left and no purpose. In my past work as a career counsellor for 15 years I’ve walked many through this process, more before retiring than after.
